Book: Briar oversaw the publishing of an artistically-designed family history book of 327 pages with end notes, a bibliography and an index. This included full book design, chapter motifs, and detailed maps and complex genealogy charts which she redrew from rough sketches. Website: I wanted a website created for a project called God in DNA. It presented awkward problems because there was substantial use of Hebrew characters mixed with English. The Hebrew characters are written right to left unlike English, and having them in close proximity was about ten times as difficult as normal. In addition individual Hebrew letters had to be coded for different colours inside long streams of Hebrew characters. Very messy. Briar achieved this and improved greatly the clarity and setting out of the website in other ways as well. Exceptional value for money.
